Job
Requirements:
-
College degree in Engineering, Science, or
Marketing with analytical and science studies. Should have some training in
Chemistry and analytical instrumentation.

Should have five or more years of experience
in the natural gas industry; three years is required.

Must have knowledge of marketing and sales
functions. Should also have previous experience in marketing, inside sales
support, or field sales.

Good written and verbal communication skills
required.

Must have the ability to develop and realize
goals.

Must be able to manage time and resources to
achieve goals.

Must have the capability of using a computer
for word processing, spreadsheet operation, and database management.

Must have the ability to work with other
departments and to work with minimal supervision toward achievement of goals.

The Natural Gas Products Specialist must be a
good salesperson.
Job
Description:
- Manage
Natural Gas Product sales to meet sales objectives and targets.
- Motivate
representatives to achieve goals.
- Provide
product and application training to representatives.
- Establish
and maintain network of effective representative firms.
- Must be
able to identify and change representatives that do not meet COMPANY
standards.
- Support
representative and customer inquiries, provide quotations of COMPANY products
as needed, and qualify prospective purchasers with respect to applications.
- Provide
direction for development of the Product line. Work with internal personnel
to expedite quotations, drawings, and shipments when needed. Support COMPANY
policy and procedures of the division.
- Provide a
monthly review and forecast to the PIBU Sales Manager on natural gas products
business activity.
- Provide
monthly and yearly sales forecasts to the Sales Manager. Support TQM and ISO
process with active participation.
- Attend
trade shows, exhibits, and training classes when required.
- Sales
travel should focus on making sales calls with the customers and the
representatives.

Articulate the benefits of the Business
units' technologies as they pertain to natural gas.

Determine feasibility for new and modified
analyzer platforms based on industry needs. Plan new market oriented
analyzers by working with customers, development engineering, and others
within and outside the business.

Drive new product development for industry
segment of responsibility via new product development process.

Provide marketing materials and
communications information needed to support the BU's products in natural gas

Take leadership role in the development of an
industry segment strategy. This includes; long term strategic planning,
intermediate term positioning of new products and product modifications, and
near term transition of new products to assigned market. Will be a key
spokesman for market segment worldwide.

Provide analysis of competitive products in
segment.

Establish annual marketing plan for area of
responsibility.

Evaluate strategic acquisitions/partnerships
in market segment.

Ensure that our international sales force has
input on the product development process.

Perform other duties as directed by the
Americas Sales Manager.

Compensation: $57,000-71,000
+ Bonus
